THE LUANGWA VALLEY

Safaris in one of Africa's wildest and most beautiful places. From the South Luangwa National Park at the furthest end of the Great Rift, with its broad river edged with sand banks and heaving with Hippo, to the little visited Luambe National Park rich in bird life and game, and the fantastically wild and unspoiled North Luangwa, where walking amongst the Mopane is the preferred way of game viewing and where just a tiny number of visitors ever set foot. Walking safaris in the North Luangwa are deemed to be an unparalleled wilderness experience and are very sought-after.

We provide guests with a varied choice of safaris, from just a few nights in the South to our "Nyati safari " which explores the whole valley in one very unique and quite adventurous safari . We hope that our safaris provide the best possible value, activities included within the costs such as Day and night time game drives in open 4x4 vehicles, bush walks, light air craft flights , and walking safaris that can if you wish form quite a significant part of the safari (especially in the North) and you are always lead by knowledgeable guides and accompanied by armed National Parks Scouts .

Dear Tony and gang", Just to say massive thanks to you and all at Busanga for the most incredible trip... I'm back but actually not back really, all the time it's flashbacks and looking at people in the street and thinking they know NOTHING. What have you done to me?
The wildlife was amazing, the people wonderful. Shall contact you again with regard to going somewhere else when I get my head round being back here.Thankyou again.."

" I made everyone jealous because on the 4 nights I went out at Kafunta we saw leopard EVERYTIME!!! Some of the experienced travellers hadn't seen one ever! . So beautiful, and each time they were doing different things. Loved Buffalo camp, that was my favourite...going to the toilet under the stars, loved it. Majestic elephant, my best photo was of a lion, and on foot, the highlight of the trip, came upon 3 lionesses just sleeping! They were so surprised(we were about 10 metres away) and they jumped up and ran off, the guide had his weapon up immediately, and then we all just fell about laughing....it was brilliant. The bird life was awesome, so many, such colours....giraffe, buffalo, hippo, crocs...I saw Everything. Still having dreams of it too, all very unsettling. I'll do somthing else with you guys. Same time next year is good for me.
I LOVED IT.
